Came in during lunch on a business trip, the waitress was friendly and the service was excellent. I had a Philly cheese steak and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. While the restaurant was very busy, the food was delivered quickly. Will return if in the area again.
We appreciate Diner 54 so much. You can count on your food being well prepared and the service is always excellent. The variety of foods on the menu makes it easy for everyone to find something they like. The new remodel is very nice as well. We also love that we can visit without having to shout at each other!
I loved this place already, but now? Woah!! Brand new updated EVERYTHING, all the way down to the driveway! New menus with lots of additions, and still breakfast all day! Can’t beat the menu any where!

For average priced meals you will get 5 star service and a delicious meal. I got the steak sandwich and hot wings. A little too much bread on the wings but easy to pick off... very good. The sandwich is pictured. It was a very simple concept and totally delicious. The fries were amazing. My waitress visited my table anytime my drink was past half full. She was conversational and fun. I'll be back next time I'm in this part of town. Oh and they make their own dressing... mmmmm.
Very family ordinated (Cartoons were playing) we were seated as soon as we walked in the door they gave us plenty of time to order my husband got the all you can eat Walleye, he said it was really good and you couldn't even tell it was fish! I got a taco salad (recommended by a lady who was coming outside as we were going inside) and our kids had some fries that were really good!
Diner 54 is a great place to eat when you're away from home or to just have a home cooked meal. The service is great, they are friendly and make you feel at home. Abby is an awesome waitress and she never let my glass go empty.
Great place to eat and love what the owners have done with the place very nice the food is always great and they feed you good well worth the money and love how the owners are wanting to help families kids eat for free off the kids meal menu during these government shut down times how cool is that
Easy to find and get to. Seated quickly and the place seemed clean. They got our drinks quickly, I had Pepsi and the ladies had water. I got a hamburger steak with two fried eggs over easy. The wife got an omelette with hash browns. The orders were large so it should be plenty to eat. Our waitress kept our glasses full and was very nice about taking on my glass refills. I would come back
